Vaishnavi Ghawate

Hello there! I'm Vaishnavi, and I'd like to take a moment to share a bit about my journey and experiences here at the University of Leeds.  

I embarked on my academic adventure after completing my undergraduate degree at Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2019. With a degree in computer engineering, I ventured into the professional world, where I spent two enriching years honing my skills as a web developer. 

My path led me to discover University of Leeds while searching for the best educational opportunities in the UK. The exceptional reputation of this university, both as a member of the esteemed Russell Group and for its outstanding research and academic offerings, piqued my interest. Moreover, I was influenced by the glowing recommendations from alumni who spoke highly of their time at this institution. 

Since my arrival here, my experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. The vibrant atmosphere on campus is invigorating, and there is always something exciting happening around me.

As a student, the workload has certainly increased, but it's a challenge I've eagerly embraced, knowing it's a vital part of my academic growth. One of the standout aspects of the University of Leeds is the quality of education it offers. The accomplished and friendly professors in my course have been instrumental in my academic journey. I'm excited to see where their guidance and mentorship will lead me in the coming years. 

Beyond my studies, I have a passion for drawing, particularly scenic art, and experimenting with diverse cuisines in the kitchen. In my leisure time, you'll often find me immersed in these creative pursuits. 

The city that surrounds University of Leeds is a true gem. With its beautiful campus, complete with a duck pond and friendly wildlife, it's a picturesque place to call home. The convenience of having essential amenities within walking distance and an abundance of nearby parks and hiking spots makes this city even more special. 

As for accommodation, I've been fortunate to secure a spot in university housing. The social committee has been incredibly active, and I've enjoyed building bonds with my flatmates. The location is ideal, making my daily routine smooth and enjoyable. 

I'm eagerly looking forward to the opportunities and experiences that University of Leeds has in store for me. This chapter of my academic journey promises to be filled with growth, excitement, and memorable moments. I'm grateful for the chance to be part of this dynamic academic community.
