Hello, I’m Sasha!
I’m currently in my final year of undergraduate LLB Law at the University of Leeds. Before coming to Leeds, I completed the French Baccalaureate with a focus on history, geography, geopolitics, economic and social sciences, and English literature. My research into top universities for law led me to Leeds, where I was impressed by its strong reputation and academic standards. I wanted a university that offered both academic rigor and a vibrant student life, and Leeds has met these expectations in every way.

The University of Leeds has an incredible academic environment with knowledgeable and supportive faculty members. From my first day, I’ve felt part of a community that encourages intellectual growth and critical thinking. Professors here bring a mix of academic and real-world expertise, which makes learning engaging and relevant. I've had many opportunities to expand my understanding of law through lectures, seminars, and hands-on learning experiences, which have strengthened my skills in research, analysis and communication.
What I really enjoy about Leeds is its lively campus and the welcoming community. There’s always something happening, from student society events to university-organized activities, making it easy to get involved and meet people. Living in Charles Morris Hall has been a great experience as well; it's right on campus, which keeps me connected to the university life while also providing a comfortable and supportive space to come back to after a day of classes.
Leeds is such a vibrant city, full of unique cafes, restaurants, and cultural spots.
Outside of my studies, I love staying active and spending time with friends, whether we’re exploring Leeds or trying out new sports. Leeds is such a vibrant city, full of unique cafes, restaurants, and cultural spots. There's always something new to discover, whether it’s a cosy corner for studying or an event happening in the city centre.
My advice to anyone considering Leeds is to immerse yourself in everything it offers! Take advantage of the amazing resources, connect with people from different backgrounds, and explore the city—it’s an experience you won’t regret.
