Anushka Menghwani

Hey Everyone!

I am Anushka, from India. I'm currently pursuing MA Advertising and Marketing at Leeds University Business School. I have always keen on learning more about businesses, brands, and different audiences, especially during my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis Pune, India. With experience of working at an advertising agency and various internship roles in the Marketing, I was looking for a robust curriculum to further pursue my Master’s in Advertising and the University of Leeds’ course structure attracted my interest! The programme offered an excellent blend of academic and practical learning, enabling students a global understanding of the industry.

The university has great career, academic and wellbeing support. The experienced professors and the guidance of personal tutor makes learning enriching along with many opportunities with career fairs, and career centre support. The city’s nightlife and vibrant environment makes it a student friendly city with easy accessibility and vast network of public transport with buses and trains. The infrastructure of the campus - 4 libraries, green campus and lecture halls provide refreshing study spaces along with a well equipped sporting facility - The Edge.

I live in a private accommodation called IQ Altus House, which is in the heart of the city. The city, the University and the support available here has made the exhilarating journey of being an international student here really easy and seamless. I could give time to my academics and explore my hobbies, mainly reading, writing, and travelling.
